"Mission: Impossible" 6th movie in franchise gets release date There has been no official announcement on which of the cast will be returning for the 6th movie.
There is a release date for "Mission: Impossible 6." Paramount Pictures and Skydance Media have set July 27, 2018, as the release date for the sixth instalment. Production is expected to kick off in the spring of 2017 with Christopher McQuarrie, who directed "Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation" returning as the writer and director. McQuarrie’s return officially makes him the first director to return twice for a Mission: Impossible film.
The 5th instalment which was released in 2015 stars Jeremy Renner, Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Simon McBurney and Rebecca Ferguson.
