A source says Jay and Bey have been trying so hard to conceive and were looking into surrogates and adoption.

Reports have it that Beyoncé had first given up trying to have another baby after Blue Ivy. The pop diva, who revealed Wednesday, February 1, 2017, that she is expecting twins with husband Jay Z, "had given up" trying to get pregnant before she got the good news.

US Weekly reports the 'Sorry' singer and hip-hop mogul, Jay-Z, "had been trying and trying to conceive." The 35-year-old singer, who shared in her 2013 HBO documentary, Beyoncé: Life Is but a Dream, that she suffered a miscarriage before Blue Ivy was born, was "frustrated" after unsuccessful in vitro fertilisation treatments. A source told the website, Jay and Bey were looking into surrogates and adoption. Then out of nowhere, they realised they were expecting not one but two babies! The pop diva shared a photo of herself exposing her mid-riff on her Instagram page on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, expressing joy that her family will be welcoming two new members.
